Superfriends

I'm a little late posting this one, but I thought I'd throw it out here anyway. I did this for my fall festival superhero basket that was auctioned off to raise money for my school. The basket had action figures, heroclix, coloring books, and the 11x17 drawing. I think it ended up being the top basket in the auction bringing in over $200! Happy was I!

Emerald Archer

Here's another of my Christmas sketches for my sixth graders. I really like how this one came out. Green Arrow can be a little tricky with that wack-a-doo hat, but he's definitely a fan favorite among my wife, brother, and kids at school though. Hope you dig!

Blue Christmas Elf

Here's another Christmas sketch for a sixth grader. This elf is definitely not one of Santa's little helpers, but Nightcrawler's teleportation would help explain how the jolly ol' fat man makes it up and down those chimneys so fast! Hope you like!

All I want for Christmas is a...Green Scar?

Yup! At least that's the sketch this sixth grader wanted for his Christmas sketch. This version of the Green Goliath has caused quite a stir among the Heroclix community in the sixth grade. Hulk Smash! Anyway, it was supercool getting this request-check back for more Christmas commishes soon!

Daredevil the Man Without Fear

Here's a commission that I did right after the Fall Festival gig at my school. I wanted to do a little extra on this one, so I threw in a little villain profile action in the background for fun. Also, tossed a Matt Murdock mugshot right there in front. Hope you dig it! Hope to color it soon-check back later!

Fall Festival

This past Friday I was able to do something that I've never done before. I had a sketch booth at my school's fall festival. Oh man, I had a blast. The sketches were done in pencil and inked or colored with sharpies or markers on 5x7 card stock. I had about 15 made up before the festival to display at my booth so people could see what they would be getting. I did mostly supers, but also had a few mascots, princesses, and toons as well. I even did a Barney Fife! I started at 5 and didn't stop sketchin' until about 9:30. When the eraser dust had cleared, I had sold over 30 of my sketches. I was super excited that I was able to raise over $100(sketches were $3) for our school! Lookin' forward to the next time!

Philip Rivers-GO BOLTS!

I've been a Rivers fan since he started against Arkansas St. as a Wolfpack freshman a long while back. I thought I'd try my hand at sketching him in All Star Vinyl(Upper Deck sports figurines that are very cool) style for fun. Dig it!
